It takes about a month to complete, or can be completed in stages over a number of years. The walk requires a good level of fitness. Many people find it to be a life changing experience…

We are delighted to announce a number of pilgrimage opportunities in celebration of the 2025 Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee. Pope Francis has designated 2025 as a Year of Jubilee, inviting people across the whole Church to celebrate at a local level, as well as coming together as one universal family. At the heart of this uplifting celebration is the theme of pilgrimage – a quest to discover and leave behind all that separates us from God in the hope of finding renewed fulfilment, peace, and joy. As such, our Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee Coordination Team are delighted to offer a range of pilgrimages at home and overseas. More about the Jubilee year read in diocesan booklet.
